Reports reaching Igbere TV newsdesk shows that following a public outcry from concerned Nigerians, President Muhammadu Buhari has suspended the RUGA Settlements Project.
According to what a presidency source told Igbere TV newsmen, the President, after consultations with stakeholders suspended the idea pending further notice.
The source further disclosed to Igbere TV that a statement will soon be issued by the Presidency.
After consultations with stakeholders, President Buhari has resolved to put away the idea for a thorough review and well accepted approach to the menace constituted to national security by the constant clashes between herdsmen and farmers.
