The Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry in Enugu, southeast Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, says Nigerians should be thankful to God for giving the nation a man like President Muhammadu Buhari who knows how to spend prudently.
Naija News reports that Mbaka, who predicted President Buhari’s reelection, made this comment during his Wednesday weekly prayer meeting, in his prayer ground Umuchigbo-Nike Enugu.
The controversial cleric also warned those criticising President Buhari over the current state of his administration, to be mindful of their utterances.
Mbaka said this was because, the “present hunger and famine in the land was not caused by Buhari” but by Goodluck Jonathan, former Nigeria’s President.
The clergyman recalled how he pleaded with Jonathan’s administration to “save for the raining day” during the “oil boom in the country” but his advice was not heeded to by the administration.
His words: “Those of you who are criticising Buhari that he is not doing well should be mindful of your utterances. I could recall in 2012 when there was oil boom in the country I told the Nigeria President then, Dr Goodluck Jonathan and his associates to save for the raining days and they did not heed my advice, rather they told me not to interfere in politics; that I should mind mThe Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry in Enugu, southeast Nigeria, Rev.
